Abstract
the universities of Augsburg, Modena-Reggio Emilia and Pisa are involved
in this project, and the result of their joint-work is the development and
testing of an open source environment. The actual aims of the project are
to: (1) develop a collaborative environment suitable to support education
and work-groups; (2) inquire into the educational effectiveness of such a
model in different subject-areas and tasks. To-date, the environment has
been tested in activities related to: intercultural communication (Augsburg,
Modena-Reggio Emilia), and human resource management (Pisa).
